My mother ended up probably with the largest private collection of Bhowmick, including some very early works. Below are some of the items in the collection that we are willing to sell
Above is a very rare Bhowmick from 1992 with significant archival value
It is 28 x 22 and an absolutely gorgeous and special piece.
Each of these are about 18×23 and are classic Bhowmick style. They are mostly from 2005 to 2015
these are 16×20 and once again classic Bhowmick with birds and women
This is a rare black and white Bhowmick from 1997 with significant archival value. it is 23×30
This is an extremely large piece of 40″x 27″ from 2008 which is very rare
The pieces vary in price depending on archival value, rarity and size and range will be between Rs. 1.25 lakhs to Rs 2.75 lakhs – which is significantly lower than gallery prices. Most come with a certificate of authenticity and since we personally know Mr. Bhowmick, we can arrange to have any piece validated.
