Philosophy

We are all philosophers to some extent or another – some more than others.   A few years ago I saw a sign in the subway station about searching for Happiness. It was for the School of Practical Philosophy. So what did I have to lose – I called them and started attending their “classes” or really open conversations.  And I must say it was a great experience. The open conversations with other attendees made it really worthwhile.

It helped to bring out the amateur philosopher in me as well, in particular because of the focus on “practical philosophy”, i.e. philosophy in which we don’t have to become hermits or forgo the material world – but philosophy we can incorporate in our day to day lives.

So I started writing down some random thoughts on philosophy…
